On 20 November 2024, the Department of Information Technology, International College, Payap University organized an IT Field Trip to leading technology companies in Chiang Mai, providing students with valuable firsthand exposure to the Information Technology industry.
During the trip, 25 IT students and 5 IT staff visited Aware Corporation and Princess Sirindhorn AstroPark, gaining insights into current industry practices, technological advancements, and career opportunities. This experience allowed students to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world application, while also expanding their professional network.
A special collaborative lunch and departmental meeting at Princess Sirindhorn AstroPark provided an excellent opportunity for students and instructors to engage in meaningful discussions, fostering stronger relationships and teamwork before the afternoon session.
This enriching experience reinforced our commitment to experiential learning, equipping students with the knowledge and connections essential for their future careers in IT.
