\nDan Edwards was studying Artificial Intelligence at MIT in the early 1960’s when he helped write what many consider to be the first “video” game: Spacewar!<\/a>\u00a0\u00a0 Dan will be speaking at Payap University on Thursday the 12th of February from 12 – 1pm in room PC420 (4th floor of the Pentecost Building) about the early days of computing and gaming at MIT.<\/p>\n

On the day we will have the original code running on a PDP-1 emulator with some “vintage” game controllers<\/a> so you can come and try your hand at Spacewar!<\/p>\n
